Crystal Palace are looking to re-sign Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to talkSPORT.
The Lowdown: Sarr links
The Eagles could be in for a busy end to the summer window, with Watford winger Ismaila Sarr another player of interest to Palace officials.
Reliable reporter David Ornstein revealed on Tuesday evening that the club are working on a move for Sarr and that discussions are ongoing.
Dougie Freedman travelled to Birmingham to watch the Senegal international in action for Watford on Tuesday, however, he was left out due to a slight injury issue.
The Latest: Wan-Bissaka update
TalkSPORT shared a story on Wednesday afternoon regarding Palace and Wan-Bissaka.
They claim that the Eagles want to bring the player back to Selhurst Park on loan, with United willing to sanction a temporary exit if they bring in a replacement.
The Verdict: Possibility?
Wan-Bissaka, labelled as ‘unstoppable’ by Dave O’Grady back in 2019, was exactly that at Palace before sealing a move to Old Trafford.
However, things haven’t gone to plan with the Red Devils and he is yet to feature under Erik ten Hag this season, so he could well be keen on a return in the final weeks of the window.
Patrick Vieira has two experienced right-back options in Joel Ward and Nathaniel Clyne at this moment in time, but you’d expect that the 24-year-old would go straight into the starting line-up, should a move materialise.
